Many residents are still struggling to put food on the table as the federal shutdown continues to strain household budgets.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Los Angeles County is stepping up to fill the gap. We\u2019ve mobilized local resources and community partnerships to ensure residents have access to emergency food and nutrition assistance while federal programs remain disrupted. I encourage anyone in need to dial 2-1-1 or visit&nbsp;<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/links-1.govdelivery.com\/CL0\/http:%2F%2Flacounty.gov%3Futm_content=%26utm_medium=email%26utm_name=%26utm_source=govdelivery%26utm_term=\/1\/0100019a3c05af62-f820300b-f53e-44ff-97a1-2c6da54cfdc5-000000\/AGSeEdV-o8kWdpoygRD4vdeVao9mRoGdlqVEuFcp_dg=429\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><em>lacounty.gov<\/em><\/a><em>&nbsp;to learn more about the County\u2019s available resources.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los Angeles County has a network of 940 food pantries in place across the County coordinated by the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. Food is available now for anyone who needs it and supplies will be increased for the month of November.
