The Power of Voices: The Ebell of LA Launches a New Season of Signature Programming This Fall

Making its debut, the Distinguished Voices speaker series engages local leaders in thoughtful conversations on culture and community

The beloved monthly showcase, LA Voices, returns with a vibrant series of free offerings spotlighting local musicians, artists and changemakers on the historic Wilshire Ebell Theatre stage

LOS ANGELES, SEPTEMBER 10, 2025 – This fall, The Ebell of Los Angeles, a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring women and building community through arts, culture and education, opens its 2025–26 season of programming at its historic campus on Wilshire Boulevard with a resounding theme: the power of voices—whether sung, spoken, or shared in dialogue. Anchored by two marquee series, LA Voices and Distinguished Voices, the season invites Angelenos to gather for concerts, conversations and community-centered celebrations.   Together, these programs showcase the breadth of Los Angeles’ cultural offerings while underscoring The Ebell’s enduring role as a vibrant space for the spirited exchange of ideas, artistic expression, cultural enrichment and meaningful educational experiences.

Distinguished Voices: Conversations that Inspire
Debuting this season, Distinguished Voices showcases today’s leading experts, educators, and trailblazers in compelling conversations and presentations designed to expand perspectives and imagination. The series invites the community to share a meal together while engaging with civic, cultural and well-being leaders whose perspectives foster understanding and inspire progress.

  • Acclaimed actors Denise Nicholas and Christopher Benson on Monday, February 9, 2026 
  • Surgeon General of California Dr. Diana Ramos on Monday, March 9, 2026 
  • The Ebell’s Rest Cottage Association Grant Awards, April 13, 2026; Featuring speakers from the nonprofit organizations receiving more than $100,000 in annual grants that provide critical support for women.
