Solis Issues Statement on House Vote to Release Jeffrey Epstein Files for Survivors
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles County Chair Pro Tem and First District Supervisor Hilda L. Solis issued the following statement on the U.S. House of Representatives resoundingly passing a bill ordering the release of the Justice Department’s files on Jeffrey Epstein:
“Back in September, alongside Peace Over Violence and a coalition of survivor advocates, I stood on the steps of the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration and called for exactly what the House voted for today — full transparency, accountability, and the public release of the remaining Epstein files. Survivors have bravely come forward, some for the very first time, to share their trauma and demand a system that listens, responds, and delivers justice without delay. I urge the Senate to act swiftly so that this long-awaited truth can finally come to light, and for this administration to comply in releasing the full files, without interference or adulteration.”
