What are Native voters looking for in this year’s midterms, and are candidates listening? This briefing will examine tribal sovereignty, voting access and turnout, and Indigenous candidates seeking office. Speakers will discuss how priorities and experiences differ among voters living on reservations, in rural communities and in cities, and how younger Native voters are getting involved. The conversation will look beyond party affiliation to understand what is at stake for Native communities.
